Spring football has come and gone, with some of the questions facing the Clemson football team being answered, while others were not.
Clemson football fans now have months of waiting until they get anymore answers, as this is the time of year that most hate. That post-spring lull. And even more so after a disappointing season like many Tiger fans feel last year was.
Things are still happening, though. Players are doing things behind the scenes and coaches are busy recruiting, but fans just don’t get to see a lot of that stuff. They won’t get another glimpse into what next season’s team will really look like until August. That makes for a long break for fans that don’t pay much attention to Clemson’s spring sports like baseball, softball, tennis, and rowing.
That’s one thing that spring practice and the spring game, at least, helps out with. While the staff and players use that time to get as much work in preparing for the upcoming season fans, on the other hand, plan for weeks in preparation of taking full advantage of the chance to see their team before going into what could be considered a dead period for fans of college football.
However, time flies. The lull will be over before you know it and the Clemson Tigers will be standing atop the Hill, touching the rock, and getting ready to give 110 percent for a packed Death Valley as they start trying to answer those questions that are still lingering.
