Truthfulness Of Attorney For Deshaun Watson Accusers Now In Question

Now questions may be raised about the attorney representing the women accusing Deshaun Watson of sexual assault.

NFL Reporter Tom Pelissero earlier stated that attorney Tony Buzbee, in his press conference on Friday, said that he has been contacted by the Houston Police Department about the sexual assault cases alleged against Watson.

Tony Buzbee, attorney for a dozen women accusing Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct, says in a press conference he has been contacted by Houston police and intends to put together a packet for them, as well as cooperating with an NFL review under the personal conduct policy.

In a tweet by the Houston Police Department they state there has been no such contact with Buzbee nor have there been any reports filed against Watson.

At this time, HPD is unaware of any contact between HPD and Houston attorney Tony Buzbee regarding the allegations contained in his recently filed lawsuits and no incident reports regarding these allegations have been filed in our jurisdiction.

Watson’ agent also released a statement earlier on Friday.

“Sexual assault is real. Victims should be heard, offenders prosecuted. Individuals fabricate stories in pursuit of financial gain often. Their victims should be heard, and those offenders also prosecuted. I simply hope we keep this same energy with the truth.”
