ESPN recently ranked the top ten quarterbacks in college football as we start to head into the 2020 season. Obviously, at the top are Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields, who most would agree are the top two signal callers in the land.
At number three is where it gets interesting though. Jamie Newman, who just transferred to Georgia from Wake Forest, was not the third best quarterback in the ACC last season, and now suddenly he is the third best in the nation? Even better than Sam Howell at North Carolina?
Something stinks, and it smells like that good old SEC bias we have become all to familiar with.
