Reserve center Tre Jemmison has entered his name in the transfer portal. The move was confirmed earlier on Wednesday when Brad Brownell released a statement thanking the rising junior for his contributions to the program.
“I’d like to thank Trey for his hard work and contributions to our program over the last two seasons. We wish him the best of luck in the future.”

Jemmison, out of Birmingham, is a former four star recruit and was the number one center in the state of Alabama. His departure opens the door for significant playing time for incoming freshman PJ Hall, the Gatorade High School Player of the Year in the state of South Carolina last season.
Jemmison was a raw talent, with a lot of upside, when he arrived at Clemson. His development has been noticeable over his first two seasons in the program. Wherever he ends up, that team is getting a solid, seven foot big, whose best basketball is still ahead of him.
Jemmison’s departure also opens up a scholarship, giving Brownell the flexibility to scour the transfer market in search of a grad transfer, in order to fill any depth needs for next season.
