Representing Team USA in the World University Games, the Clemson Basketball team beat Germany 76-74 on Monday, in a quarterfinal matchup.

Four Tigers scored in double figures, with two posting double doubles. Tevin Mack led the charge, scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 boards, while John Newman III added 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Amir Sims had another good showing for himself with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while point guard Nick Honor pitched in 11 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Team USA shot very well from beyond the arc, going 11-24, including Honor knocking down a clutch 3 late that sealed the victory.
