Two 5-star defenders have recently announced plans to attend Clemson’s official visit weekend June 2-4.
247Sports’ national recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong is reporting that both ATH KJ Bolden and LB Sammy Brown plan to visit Clemson that weekend. While Bolden is listed as an ATH, the Tigers, as well as most others, are recruiting him as a safety.
Brown will also take officials to Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee, with most thinking this has become a Clemson-Georgia battle.
Bolden plans to take officials to Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama this summer, with one for Auburn scheduled for the fall.
Clemson and Notre Dame have released depth charts ahead of this weekend’s matchup at Death Valley.
For the second time this season, Clemson will be an underdog at home.
Despite Clemson’s astonishing loss to Miami, the Tigers will head to Raleigh next week favored over NC State.
