While FSU is getting all of the offseason hype, it is the Clemson Tigers that ESPNs FPI has tabbed as the favorite to win the league.
The Tigers are being given a 45.3% chance of winning the conference, with the Seminoles are at 25.2%
Clemson’s win total is listed at 10.3, while the Tigers are given just a 6.8% chance of running the table against a schedule that features home games against Notre Dame and Florida State.
As far as a return trip to the College Football Playoff, the FPI gives the Tigers a 24.2% chance. Those are the seventh best odds in the country.
