After a solid freshman campaign backing up Trenton Simpson at SAM in 2022, Barrett Carter burst onto the scene in 2022, his first season as a full-time.
The sophomore earned third-team All ACC honors last season after ranking third on the team with 77 tackles. He also added 10.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, eight pass breakups, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
