The ESPN College GameDay crew has pretty much seen it all when it comes to college football.
Each week during the season, the show travels from campus to campus, taking in some of the best atmospheres the sport has to offer.
Longtime host Reese Davis recently appeared on the Gramlich and Mac Lain podcast, and was asked which three schools he likes to visit most.
“You could choose Clemson or anywhere in the SEC and not be wrong in the top three,” Davis said. “So, I’d probably say that, just for the sake of your listeners and your affinities, I would say Clemson’s as good as we do. We’re up there on the hill. It’s a fun place to go. I get to go to Smokin’ Pig. (David) Pollack found sloppy body guy, and then we had the mud splash there. So, there’s always something fun that happens when we go to Clemson.”
Davis also named Washington State and James Madison as his other two favorite places.
College GameDay is set to be in Columbus to open the season on September 3 as Notre Dame visits Ohio State.
