Record Setting Month Puts Clemson’s 2023 Recruiting Class In Top-5; More to Come?

Dabo Swinney’s Tigers have been killing it on the recruiting trail.

In fact, June has been a record-setting month. Clemson has picked up 11 commitments, this most in any one month in the Swinney era.

The recent surge has the class currently ranked No. 4 in the 247 Composite, No. 5 by ESPN and No. 3 by Rivals, and by all accounts, the Tigers aren’t quite done.

4-star OL Harris Sewell is reportedly on the verge of an announcement, with multiple recruiting analysts projecting him to Clemson.

Another blue-chip OL, 4-star Zecharia Owens, is set to announce on July 4, and again, multiple analysts have him pegged to Clemson, as well.

5-star DL Peter Woods is then set to announce on July 8. While there are no official projections to Clemson, this looks to be coming down to Alabama and the Tigers, and most are giving Clemson a shot.

If Swinney and the Tigers can land Woods, this class absolutely has the kind of staying power it would need to remain in the Top-5 for the duration.
