Analysts Providing Bulletin Board Material for Tigers?

While many are expecting Clemson to bounce back after a 10-3 season, not all are convinced that the Tigers will reclaim its spot at the top of the ACC standings so quickly.

Former Clemson OL and current ACCN analyst, Eric Mac Lain, is also the co-host of the very popular Gramlich and Mac Lain Podcast with former WCCP personality Kelly Gramlich.

Recently Mac Lain tweeted out who the summer guests on the podcast have picked to win the Atlantic and Coastal divisions this season. Of the four, only one, Jason Fitz, picked Clemson. Jordan Cornette, Nicole Auerback and Katie George, all went with NC State.

With the Wolfpack knocking off the Tigers last season for the first time ever during the Dave Doeren era, this year’s matchup is already being tabbed as one of the biggest “revenge games” in the country.

Judging by Xavier Thomas’ response to Mac Lain’s tweet, it appears there may be some validity to the thinking regarding revenge games.

At the very least, it looks to be providing some bulletin board material for the Tigers, not that they needed any. This year’s game on October 2, takes place in Death Valley, where Clemson has not lost since 2015 and where NC State has not won since 2002.
