‘Sleeper’ Team Emerging for Deshaun Watson

Could Deshaun Watson return home to the state of Georgia?

After it was originally reported that the Saints and Panthers were making aggressive offers, the Falcons are jumping into the mix and according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortenson, Atlanta is the sleeper team.

“The Falcons have emerged as a sleeper team to acquire Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, league sources tell @mortreport and me,” Schefter posted on Twitter. “The Falcons join the Panthers, Saints, and Browns as teams that have met with, or are interested in, trading for Watson.”

The quarterback is set to meet with the Falcons on Wednesday.
