Clemson has handed out its first offer of the 2024 recruiting class, and a little earlier than normal.
2024 LB Sammy Brown, the nation’s No. 1 players at his position in the next recruiting cycle, picked up the offer while on a weekend visit. The Tigers don’t typically hand out offers until the summer before a player’s junior year, but Brown is the rare exception.
The 6-foot-2, 215 pound 5-star player from Georgia is also ranked No. 6 overall in the 247 Composite.
2023 LB Jamal Anderson, the son of the former NFL running back of the same name also announced an offer on Saturday. The All-State selection in Georgia had 78 tackles, seven for loss, with four sacks, five pass breakups and two interceptions last season. Anderson now has more than 30 offers.
The 4-star ranks No. 30 among all linebackers nationally.
2023 CB Brandon Strozier also announced an offer. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound 3-star prospect out of Georgia now has 17 offers in total. He ranks No. 39 among all corners nationally.
