Report: Two NFC South Teams Make Trade Offer for Deshaun Watson

A number of teams will likely have interest in trading for Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson.

However, according to a report from NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, there are two that have already made offers, the Saints and Panthers.

The #Saints and #Panthers have made offers for #Texans QB Deshaun Watson and are likely to meet with him soon, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. Other teams also are involved. Watson has a no-trade clause and wants to meet with teams before formally waiving it anywhere.

Watson has a no-trade clause in his contract and would have to approve any deal. Ahead of last season’s trade deadline, the quarterback would not approve a deal to Carolina, according to multiple reports.

Houston will allow the former Clemson quarterback to meet with teams.
