After being taken in the first round of the NFL Draft by Jacksonville, former Clemson running back Travis Etienne missed most of his rookie season with a foot injury.
Clemson’s all-time leading rusher and two-time ACC Player of the Year, provided an update on Monday regarding how the recovery process is going.
“I definitely feel like as of now I’ll be ready for training camp, I’ll be ready to go,” Etienne told John Shipley of Jaguars Report.
Etienne also disclosed that he could have returned this season, but was advised not to do so by doctors.
Etienne left Clemson after the 2020 season as the Tigers all-time leading rusher, as well as the ACC career record-holder for rushing yards (4,952), total touchdowns (78), rushing touchdowns (70) and points (468).
