Cheez-It Bowl MVP Mario Goodrich Says Goodbye to Clemson Family

Mario Goodrich has quietly had a fantastic final season for Clemson.

The Cheez-It Bowl MVP and first team All ACC selection has, in fact, made it official, that the 2021 season will be his last. Goodrich could have his used his free Covid year to return for a sixth season, but instead will head off to the NFL.

Goodrich took to social media on Friday to say goodbye to the Clemson Family.

Goodrich started 11 games in 2021, registering 47 tackles and broke up seven passes. He also had two interceptions, including the big pick six against Iowa State.
