CBS Sports released its Preseason All American team on Wednesday and three Clemson Tigers made the cut.
Justyn Ross and Bryan Bresee were named first-team All-Americans, while James Skalski was named to the second-team.
Justyn Ross
“Ross’ career at Clemson got off to a very impressive start, but a neck and spinal issue cost the Tigers receiver the entire 2020 season. He’s back for this upcoming season after totaling 112 catches for 1,865 yards and 17 touchdowns through his first two years at Clemson.“
Bryan Bresee
“Speaking of making an impact as a true freshman, Bresee may have been the best first-year defender in the entire country a year ago. The Clemson standout ended the season with 23 tackles (6.5) for loss with four sacks and a forced fumble in 11 games.“
James Skalski
Skalski enters the 2021 season with 210 career tackles, 16 TFL, 7.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble in 1,222 snaps over 56 games in his career. He’s also started 21 games, is a returning team captain and considered the quarterback of the Clemson defense.
