Martavis Bryant isn’t off to a good start with what could very easily be his last shot at playing professional football.
Bryany has been placed on the suspended list after failing to show up on time for Toronto Argonauts training camp and head coach Ryan Dinwiddie appears to be getting a little impatient with what appears to be passport issues.
“We’ve had some contact with him. I’m getting a little impatient with the thing,” Dinwiddie said. “We need to get him up here now if he’s going to make an impact on our team. The ball is in his court, he needs to get his passport and get those things squared away. We’ll see how that’s going to play out.”
As an NFL rookie in 2014 Bryant averaged more than 20 YPC with the Steelers. After a promising 2015 season, Bryant was suspended for the 2016 season.
Bryant spent three seasons at Clemson (2011-14), catching 61 passes for 1,354 yards, with 13 touchdowns. His biggest season was his final one when he caught 42 balls for more than 800 yards and eight touchdowns.
