Clemson is still looking for a defensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting class.

One of the Tigers targets at the position is Hero Kanu, out of Santa Margarita Catholic in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. The 4-star prospect picked up a Clemson offer back in the spring.

On Friday, Kanu released his list of Top-9 schools, with Clemson making the cut. Alabama, Washington, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, Southern Cal and Ohio State also made the list.

Kanu is ranked No. 13 amongst defensive linemen and No. 9 in the state of California, according to the 247 Composite. He is also ranked No. 82 overall, which really speaks volumes about how high his ceiling is.
