Cade Klubnik just continues to rack up the accolades.
The 2022 Clemson commit from Westlake, Texas was named the MVP of the Elite 11 Finals on Saturday, beating out some of the best high school quarterbacks in the nation.
Klubnik committed to Clemson back in March after the Tigers top target, Ty Simpson, committed to Alabama. Ironically, one of the quarterbacks that Klubnik outshined over the past four days, was indeed Simpson.
Since coming on board with the Tigers, Klubnik has been hard at work trying to help the coaching staff recruit more offensive weapons. One of the guys he’s been actively trying to lure to Clemson is 4-star tight end Oscar Delp.
In an interview with 247 Sports Andrew Ivins, Klubnik called Delp “one of our top guys” when asked who he was attempting to help bring on board.
Delp visited Clemson back in June and worked out for the Clemson coaching staff at one of Dabo Swinney’s high school camps. The Tigers are hoping to get the talented tight end back on campus for the All In Cookout later this month.
