Monte Lee and the Clemson Baseball program picked up a big commitment late Friday night.
Cam Cannarella, a South Carolina co-all classification baseball player of the year, made the pledge official via his Twitter account.
The 2022 shortstop just finished up his junior season at Hartsville High School and also made contributions on the mound for the Red Foxes.
In the middle of May Cannerella had allowed one run in 46 innings (0.15 ERA) and struck out 61 batters. And with the bat, he has a .528 average with five doubles, four triples, a home run and 23 RBI (nine strikeouts the whole season).
“That’s just another day in the life of Cam Cannarella,” Hartsville coach Tony Gainey told the Morning News in Florence.
