The past week has been a big one for Clemson when it comes to the recruiting world.
For the first time in more than a year the Clemson coaching staff has been able to host kids on campus and there have already been a number of highly-touted players visiting, whether they were working out for the coaches at camp or just touring the facilities.
However, there is another pretty big event coming up this weekend and this one focuses solely on the 2022 recruiting class. Clemson is set to host its Elite Retreat the first of two big recruiting events this summer. The second is the annual All In Cookout held every July.
Some of the names expected to be on hand for the Elite Retreat include:
- 5-star DL Travis Shaw
- 5-star S Keon Sobb
- 4-star CB Toriano Pride
- 4-star CB Jeadyn Lukus
- 4-star RB Trevor Etienne
- 4-star RB Branson Robinson
- 4-star S Sherrod Covill
- 4-star DE DJ Wesolak
All four of the Tigers current 2022 commits are also set to visit as is perferred walk-on offer in-state OL Mason Johnstone.
