Things are about to get real busy for Dabo Swinney and the rest of the Clemson coaching staff.
With the dead period that has been in place for more than a year set to end at the end of May, the Tigers are set to host numerous 2022 and 2023 prospects in the month of June.
One of those players is 5-star corner AJ Harris. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound defensive back from Phenix City, Alabama is planning to visit on June 4.
Harris ranked as the No. 2 corner in the country for 2023 and No. 23 overall. He already has offers from more than 30 schools, however, with Clemson not typically offering kids until the summer before their junior seasons, Harris has not gotten one from the Tigers just yet. One should be forthcoming in the very near future, though.
Harris, who is considered a lean to Georgia, will also pay a visit to Athens on June 8. Other schools he is planning to visit include Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and UofSC. Florida and Texas A&M could also get visits according to 247’s Steve Wiltfong.
