Brad Brownell, Clemson Pick Up Transfer Commitment

Clemson picked up a commitment from Naz Bohannon on Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 228 pound forward recently entered the transfer portal after averaging 16.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game and shooting 51.9 percent from the field as a senior for Youngstown State last season. He was a second-team All-Horizon League selection. He was a four-year starter for the Penguins and finished with more than 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds for his career.

He entered the portal citing a desire to play in the NCAA Tournament during his final season of eligibility, as well as a desire to be challenged in the ACC. Where he fits in with the Tigers remains to be seen.

Brownell already has Hunter Tyson at the 4, and Bohannon seems a little small to play the five. However, he is a great passer and a solid rebounder, two areas the Tigers could have used help in last season.
