Elite 2023 DE Set to Visit Clemson in June

Once the dead period officially expires at the end of May, expect the floodgates to open.

While Clemson doesn’t typically host official visits during the summer months, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a number of prospects making their way to campus on unofficial visits.

One of those is 2023 DE Tomarrion Parker, out of Central High School in Phoenix City, Alabama. Parker announced via Twitter that he will be on campus June 5-6.

247 Sports ranks Parker No. 114 overall, No. 14 among all SDE’s, and No. 10 in the state of Alabama.

If the name of his high school sounds familiar, it should. This is the same high school that current Clemson wideouts Justyn Ross and EJ Williams attended.

June expects to be a busy month for the Clemson coaching staff. Head coach Dabo Swinney has high school camps scheduled throughout the first week of the month, and also has the Elite Retreat on the 12th and 13th.

While the Tigers may be off to a slow start with the 2022 recruiting class, which a lot of that has been by design, things are about to take off. Expect a very busy summer.
