2022 cornerback Jayden Bellamy announced a Clemson offer on Thursday.
“Beyond blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University!!” Bellamy tweeted.
While the recruiting rankings may not show it just yet, Bellamy’s recruitment is really starting to take off. LSU and Florida State offered on Wednesday and he also sports offers from Notre Dame, Penn State and Ohio State.
The 6-foot-1, 175 corner from New Jersey is currently considered a three-star prospect and ranks No. 427 overall and No. 39 among all corners. He is ranked No. 6 in his home state.
However, expect those numbers to get better over the summer as the dead period ends. Camps are already being scheduled all across the country, including Clemson, after more than a year of coaches not being able to evaluate in person and the same holds true for recruiting showcases, meaning more opportunities for high school players to get seen.
