After visiting with multiple safeties over the past couple of days, the Cowboys have found their guy.
On Wednesday, Dallas signed former Clemson Tiger Jayron Kearse to a 1-year deal.
Kearse was originally a seventh round pick of the Vikings in the 2016 draft. Over his NFL career he has started 12 games at safety, but most of his work has come on special teams.
The former Clemson Tiger started seven games for the Lions last season before being waived.
