2021 signee Lucas Taylor has requested a release from the Letter of Intent he signed with Clemson and it has been granted.

The 6-foot-6, 3-star prospect averaged 27.9 PPG as a senior, earning him All-State honors in the state of North Carolina.
Before committing to Clemson, Taylor had more than two dozen offers including Georgia Tech, Miami, Ohio State, UConn, and Virginia Tech.
His decommitment will immediately make him one of the top unsigned seniors in the 2021 recruiting class.
