Former Clemson DB Signs New Deal With Montreal of CFL

Former Clemson cornerback Ryan Carter has signed a new deal with Montreal of the CFL.

Carter had 22 defensive tackles for the Alouettes in 2019, and knocked down two passes in 14 games. The 26-year-old from Grayson, GA played for Clemson, helping the team reach two national championship games, winning one following the 2016 season.

In 34 games with the Tigers, Carter registered 78 tackles, four interceptions and 19 knockdowns. He participated in the 2018 Buffalo Bills training camp.
