Former Clemson CB LeAnthony Williams Announces Transfer Destination

LeAnthony Williams wrapped up the transfer process in less than 24 hours.

It was confirmed the former Clemson cornerback had entered the transfer portal on Tuesday night and by Wednesday night Williams had announced that he intends on finishing his collegiate career at Marshall.

Williams, a former four-star recruit and consensus Top-250 prospect, came to Clemson as part of the 2017 recruiting class. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining due to the NCAA waiver given to all athletes last season.

The rising fifth year senior appeared in 11 games for the Tigers in both 2019 and 2020. For his career at Clemson, Williams tallied 22 tackles in 264 snaps played.
