Former Clemson LB Mike Jones Jr Commits to SEC School

Mike Jones Jr has a new home. The former Clemson linebacker has officially committed to LSU.

“Make your next move your best move,” Jones tweeted out on Wednesday.

Jones was the starter at the SAM spot for most of the 2020 season. However, he suffered a knee injury around the midway point of the season that caused him to miss two games.

He leaves Clemson with 52 career tackles, 8 TFL, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and 0.5 sacks. He logged 555 snaps over 28 career games and made seven starts.

Jones will have three years of eligibility left.
