Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant Headed to CFL

Former Clemson and Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant is headed north after agreeing to a deal with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts.

Bryant was the starting quarterback for Clemson in 2017 and led the Tigers to an ACC Championship and a berth in the CFP. However, after losing his job after the fourth game of the 2018 season to freshman Trevor Lawrence, Bryant left the team midseason and transferred to Missouri.

For his career Bryant completed 65% of his passes for 5,553 yards with 31 TD’s and 16 INT’s. He also had more than 1,200 rushing yards and another 17 TD’s on the ground.
