Clemson basketball is in the midst of one of their better seasons under Brad Brownell.
The Tigers are currently sitting at 12-5 overall and 6-5 in ACC play and at one time were ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation. After winning nine of their first ten games, the team went on a skid that saw the Tigers lose four out of five, with all four losses coming in blowout fashion.
However, since the skid, this Clemson team has rebounded nicely and have now won two of their past three games. It would seem, for the moment anyways, that the Tigers have found that magic that had worked so well over the first ten games.
Brownell’s team has been extremely good in Littlejohn, winning eight of their nine games at home. On the road though, it’s been a different story. Clemson is just 1-4 in true road games after going 3-0 in neutral site games over the first five games of the season.
The team is playing well enough at the moment that SportsBetting.ag is giving the Tigers odds on winning a national title. Sure, they’re a longshot, but look at it this way. There are only 37 teams getting better odds at the moment.
