Bradley Pinion ends Super bowl LV with his first ring while three other former Tigers watched on.
This year’s Super bowl had four former Clemson players in it. Former Tiger punter Bradley Pinion came in with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while former Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins, defensive back Bashaud Breeland, and linebacker Dorian O’Daniel came in with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Watkins, Breeland, and O’Daniel were all going for their second ring and back to back Super bowl wins, but it was Pinion who ended to night celebrating with his first ring.
On the night, Pinion punted the ball four times for 150 yards, an average of 37.5 yards a punt along with one inside the 20 yard line.
The rest of the Tigers had fairly quiet nights. Watkins had one catch for 13 yards, while Breeland was credited with four tackles, while not having one of his better nights defensively as he picked up a couple of pass interference calls.
