The Tigers will not be hosting the Gamecocks in Death Valley this coming season. Not that it was ever going to happen.
One question raised by a number of Clemson fans when the 2020 schedule was changed and the SEC decided to play only conference games was would the Tigers lose what was scheduled to be a home game last season versus their instate rival. The answer is yes, and was always going to be.
Clemson opens the season against Georgia at Bank of America Stadium in what should be one of the biggest non-conference games in the country next season.
One oddity will be Boston College making their third consecutive trip to Clemson. Another is the Friday night game at Syracuse. Everyone remembers 2017.
NC State and Louisville are also both back on the schedule after being removed from last year’s revamped schedule.
Below is the full schedule that was released on Thursday.
