Clemson Basketball Drops in Latest AP Poll

After getting their doors blown off at home by Virginia on Saturday, Clemson took a tumble in the AP Poll, dropping eight spots to No. 20.

The Tigers lost 85-50 to the Cavs over the weekend, three days after resuming practice after an extended break. The team was forced to pause all activities due to safety protocols and went ten days without playing a game and eight days without practicing. When they finally got back on the court over the weekend they literally looked like a team that had just come off of a long break.

Virginia is now the highest ranked ACC team, as they climb to No. 12. Virginia Tech comes in at No. 16, and is the leagues second highest ranked team.
