Brad Brownell added to his 2021 recruiting class earlier this week when Ian Schieffelin committed to the Tigers. The 6-foot-8, 225 pound power forward out of Grayson High in Loganville, Georgia chose the Tigers over App State and Richmond.
Schieffelin, a three star player, is the 20th best player in the state of Georgia and ranked 51st among all power forwards in the country. He is the second member of the Tigers 2021 class, joining four star combo-guard Joshua Beadle out of Columbia.
On The Radar Hoops Analysis:
“Following the On the Radar Hoops Academy, several ACC/SEC programs have inquired about Schieffelin. He may not be flashy, but the kid consistently produces. He understands how to post up and is effective with his back to the basket with seal or up & under moves. What makes Schieffelin a hot commodity is his ability to stretch the floor and make shots from multiple levels.”
Former Michigan hoops player Anthony Grant breaks down everything about Schieffelin.
