After spending just one season in Clemson, it appears forward Khavon Moore’s career as a Tiger will be a short one. Reports are circulating that the former top-50 recruit from Georgia has entered the transfer portal.

Moore spent his freshman season at Texas Tech where he played just two minutes due to injury, before transferring to Clemson. After receiving a waiver he was eligible immediately as a sophomore and in his first season under head coach Brad Brownell, Moore played in a reserve role, averaging 9.1 minutes per game.

He appeared in 28 games, four of which were starts, but never did seem to get comfortable in the system. He averaged 1.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.6 blocks per game.

It will be interesting to see where he winds up. This will be Moore’s third team in three years and after being granted a waiver just one year ago, he will probably be hard pressed to get another one.
