(WATCH) Newest WR Commit Troy Stellato In Action

Clemson picked up a commitment from four star wide receiver Troy Stellato on Friday. The 6-foot-0, 180 pound wideout is ranked as the 22nd best WR prospect in the 247 Composite and ranked 125th overall.

Looks to have long arms and good-sized hands. Tests as a straight-line athlete with a very good 40-time heading into his junior season. Primarily plays from the slot for his high school, allowing for free releases and favorable matchups. Plays with very good speed, particularly after the catch. Excels on crossing routes and in catch-and-run situations. Also is effective in working up the seam. Has strong and sudden hands, which have also proven to be reliable and consistent in 7-on-7 and camp settings. Will need to continue adding nuance to his game as a route-runner and show the ability to get off the press and play from the outside to add to his versatility.

To say this kid can run would be underselling it. He can fly. He has been timed at 4.42 in the forty and 4.47 in the shuttle. A versatile weapon that can really expose mismatches over the middle of the field.
