It’s looking like Clemson basketball is going to be getting a key piece of their team back for next season. It has been reported this morning that Tigers forward, Aamir Simms will be back for his senior season after deciding back in March to test the NBA waters.
Smms has now told CBS Sports basketball insider Jon Rothstein that he has decided to withdraw his name from the 2020 NBA Draft and will be returning to Clemson for his senior season. Simms can return to the Tigers because he never signed with an agent.
Simms led Clemson with 13 points and 7.2 rebounds a game last season. He earned third team All ACC honors for his work last season. Simms return will only bolster the Clemson team that Brad Brownell has for next year and Tiger fans will be expecting to see some good things when they take the court later this year.
