Lonnie White Jr has been committed to play baseball for Monte Lee and the Tigers for more than a year and a half. As of Thursday, that commitment is no more.
White has now become a two sport star and has accepted an offer to play football at Penn State. The chance of playing football for the flagship university in his home state was just to much to pass up.
The three star ATH out of Malvern Prep in Pennsylvania seemed to be poised to play baseball at the collegiate level, but his development on the football field has now given him the opportunity to play both.
