Clemson owes this accomplishment to the great start the pitching staff is off to so far this season. The Tigers pitching staff is among the best in the country and are led by Sam Weatherly, who left Friday’s game after the seventh with a no hitter intact.
The Tigers also showed a little more offense in the series against the Gamecocks which, even though it’s still early in the season, gives Clemson fans more hope as the Tigers get ready for ACC play.Â
