The Lady Tigers Softball team got the program started off on the right foot this morning, getting a win in its first game in school history.
The Tigers downed St John’s 6-2 as Logan Caymol went the distance on the mound to pick up the win. She gave up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking just 1.
Hannah Goodwin led the way at the plate, hitting a 3 run opposite field shot in the fifth, for the first homerun in program history. She added a 4th RBI later after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
