Clemson 14 Wake Forest 0

  • Wake’s slow developing zone reads are having no success outside of resulting in TFL’s. XT with two already

  • The fact that this Wake team is second best in the league just proves how bad the ACC is this season
  • Tigers stall just past midfield. Lyn J Dixon misses on his blitz pickup and causes Lawrence to get sacked
  • Spiers fumbles the snap on the punt, Wake ball at Tiger 28. Snap was fine, Spiers just dropped it

  • The Deacs punter is the second coming of Ray Guy
  • On third down Lawrence doesn’t see Dixon wide open coming out of the backfield. Wake blitzes where Dixon was and Tigers have to settle for three.

  • Tigers punt… After Amari left the second time he has not come back into game
  • Tigers force the punt, Tigers take over at own 25 with just over 2 mins left in the half
  • Lawrence moving around well. Knee doesn’t seem to be an issue at all
  • Justyn Ross down injured after a catch. Doesn’t look to be serious but obviously shaken
