Three Tigers Honored For Play Against B.C.

Today the ACC handed out its player of the week awards, and three Tigers were chosen for their play against Boston College.

Diondre Overton was named Wide Receiver of the Week. The senior wideout hauled in three catches for a career high 119 yards. Even better, all three went for touchdowns, tying a school record. He was also given the Leather Helmet Award following the game for being named the games MVP.

Tremayne Anchrum was named the Offensive Lineman of the Week after grading out at 92 vs the Eagles. It’s the second time he’s won the award in his career and the fourth time a Clemson OL has won it this season.

Trevor Lawrence was named the Quarterback of the Week after going 16-19 for 275 yards and 3 TDs. He hit on his first nine passes and finished with a career high passer rating of 257.9. He’s now thrown a touchdown pass in 18 straight and has 3 TD passes in each of the last three games.
