Monte Lee picked up a 2020 commitment earlier today when RHP/INF Landon Lucas gave his verbal pledge. Lucas is out of Blythewood High School and is considered one of the top prospects in the state.
He was at one time committed to UofSC and College of Charleston during his recruitment but now appears to have settled on playing his college ball in the upstate.
He was named to Perfect Games WWBA 17U All Tournament team over the summer and Diamond Prospects has him as one of the top infielders in the state in their 2019 summer rankings.
