Can Clemson cover the number for a second consecutive week?
The Tigers were able to cover the spread on the road against Syracuse last week, but doing so might be a little more difficult this week at home against Wake Forest.
According to Betonline.ag, the Tigers opened as a 20.5-point favorite over the Demon Deacons.
Clemson has won 14 straight against Wake Forest, going back to 2008, when a Thursday night loss in Winston-Salem signaled the end of the Tommy Bowden era. The Tigers have owned the overall series with a 70-17-1 mark all-time.
Wake is 3-1 on the season, and did beat Vanderbilt in Week 2, but the Deacs are coming off a 30-16 loss to Georgia Tech. They had this past weekend off so will have had an extra week to prep for the Tigers.
