CBS Sports has ranked the top college players to decide to return to school rather than enter the NFL Draft.
Clemson DL Tyler Davis comes in at No. 11 on the list.
“Davis is one of the most experienced defensive linemen in the country, and he chose to return to the Tigers for his ‘super senior’ season. He has 26.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks during his tenure with Clemson despite fighting through multiple injuries. He will anchor a veteran defensive line that should be one of the nation’s best.” -Barrett Sallee
In 2022, Davis was named a permanent team captain and earned second team All American honors. He was a Bednarik Award semifinalist and first team All ACC selection. He returns to Clemson next season for one final season of eligibility.
