Clemson picked up a commitment from 2024 TE Christian Bentancur on Friday.
The 4-star player out of Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL), chose Clemson over his other two finalists Oregon and Ohio State.
Bentancur ranks No. 102 overall in the 247 Composite Rankings and No. 4 among all tight ends. He also ranks as the third best player in the state of Illinois.
At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Bentancur already looks the part physically and should bring a very versatile skillset to the tight end room. If you have not seen his film, check it out.
