Clemson will kick off its season next Monday night in Atlanta against Georgia Tech and will do so as considerable favorites.
The Yellow Jackets may have given the Tigers everything they wanted a season ago, with Clemson holding on late for a 14-8 win, but the oddsmakers are not expecting a repeat this season. The Tigers are 21.5 point favorites, according to betonline.ag.
Clemson opened as a 20.5 favorite back in May, with the line swinging one point in the Tigers direction since that time.
Clemson is coming off a 10-3 season that saw the program fail to win the ACC for the first time since 2014. Georgia Tech finished the year just 3-9 and 2-6 in conference play.
